So rich, so dark
These brownies are so dark I’ll go so far to call them Lucifer’s own. They’re super rich they’re practically chocolate ganache. A doppio and Dutch-processed cocoa make them ultra decadent!

Lucifer's Brownie.
- ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- ¾ cup white, granulated sugar
- 2 shots espresso ((doppio))
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup unsweetened extra dark cocoa powder
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1-½ teaspoons salt
- 8 ounces at least 60% dark chocolate, chopped
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8×8” pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Whisk the melted butter, oil, and sugar until light in a large bowl. Add the espresso shots, vanilla, cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake brownies for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean with some brownie remnants stuck to it. Allow to cool slightly before cutting and serving.
