Classic Strawberry Jam.

July 13, 2019

Why buy jam when you can make your own?!

That description says it all.

Jam is so, so easy to make that it’s almost criminal to buy another jar of it again! This Classic Strawberry jam requires only two simple ingredients (yes, two), and in my opinion, it tastes one-hundred times better than its store-bought counterpart.

The key to making this jam is to use super ripe strawberries. That way, you don’t need to add any excess sugar to make it sweet! Just a couple tablespoons of honey goes a long way.

Classic Strawberry Jam.

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  1. Add the chopped strawberries and honey to a medium saucepan over low heat. Cook and mash the strawberries until they form a jam-like consistency, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat, and allow jam to cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving – spread on toast, and enjoy! Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
