What are the holidays without hot cocoa?!
T-4 days until Christmas! I can’t believe it’s already that time of year.
I finished my last exam on Tuesday, and what stinks about December 1st to about the 20th is that I always have so much work to finish up the semester. Last year, I had my last exam on the 21st. Luckily, this year, I had my last one a few days earlier on the 18th. That means extra time to get into the Christmas spirit.
And in that Christmas spirit, I’m sharing my favorite hot cocoa with you today. Sit by the fire with this hot cocoa, a cookie or two, light a candle, and watch a Christmas movie. That’s my definition of “getting in the Christmas spirit”. And of course we can’t forget all the Christmas shopping…all of which I still have to do!

- Marshmallows
- Sprinkles
- Whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, and 5 tablespoons of the milk until cocoa and sugar are fully dissolved. Meanwhile, bring milk to a boil over medium-low heat.
