A simple salmon dish to start off the week
I have always loved salmon, but I think I like it a lot more now.
This Citrus Teriyaki Salmon with Chive Rice is downright AMAZING. Simple is always the best.

Citrus Teriyaki Salmon with Chive Rice.
Citrus Teriyaki Salmon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 tablespoons light, packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons orange or lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 salmon filet, rinsed
Chive Rice
- 2 cups white rice (cooked)
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped)
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, ginger, garlic powder, brown sugar, honey, cornstarch, and orange or lemon juice.
- Heat coconut oil in a large skillet. Sear salmon in the skillet until golden brown and fully cooked. Add teriyaki sauce to skillet, and make sure salmon is coated in sauce.
- Mix rice and chives in a bowl. Serve salmon with rice, and enjoy!
