For those times you want a donut for breakfast but can’t
I love coffee, and I love donuts so this recipe was born.
I mean, who doesn’t love the classic breakfast combo of coffee and donuts? The slightly-bitter coffee balances out the rich donut flavor, especially in this café au lait – simple yet satisfies that sweet tooth and donut craving 🙂

Chocolate Donut Café au Lait.
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules or 2 shots freshly brewed espresso
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted
- 3 teaspoons vanilla sugar
- 1 cup steamed milk ((any type))
- Whipped cream
- Chocolate sprinkles
- Add the coffee granules or espresso to a mug along with the melted chocolate and vanilla sugar. Pour the steamed milk on top, and enjoy with chocolate sprinkles (and whipped cream if you want something a little extra)!
