A green smoothie to kickstart healthy season
It’s that time!
Warmer weather season (or as I know it, healthy season), and time for me to share a green juice/smoothie recipe with you (and this is not an April Fools joke).
This recipe is more of a smoothie than a juice since it is much thicker than a juice. Personally, I prefer smoothies over juices since you can add granola, shredded coconut, mixed nuts, and other toppings, and make it a smoothie bowl!
Add some acai in there, and you have yourself a healthy breakfast 🙂
If you make this recipe, be sure to tag your creation with the hashtag #foodfinessa.
Green Goddess Smoothie.
- 3 cups fresh baby spinach
- 2 cups fresh baby kale
- 3 cups frozen mango
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 large Granny Smith apple, skinned and chopped
- 1/2 banana
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- Blend all ingredients in a blender until completely smooth. If smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk or water. If too thin, add more spinach, kale, and mango. Serve up, and enjoy!
