Happy November!
I can’t believe it’s already November! I am really bummed Halloween just came and went so quickly, but that means one thing – Thanksgiving is coming up and autumn is far from over! However, I’m in full Christmas cookie planning mode.
And what drink goes perfectly with cookies? Tea!
Make that this Spiced Apple Black Tea!
I love tea and drink some at least once every day. If I had time and wasn’t running from class to class and section to section, I would have drink it at least three times per day. Lately, I’ve been experimenting with different types and have concluded that my favorite is black tea.
Spiced Apple Black Tea.
- 2 cups boiling water
- 4 black tea bags
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 5 anise stars
- 1/4 cup fresh cloves
- 2 cups apple cider
- Fresh apples, sliced
- Allow tea bags, cinnamon sticks, anise, and cloves to steep in water for at least 5 minutes. Remove bags and spices. Stir in cider. Add in apples, and enjoy!
And chai tea lattes? They’re definitely my favorite.
