Festive Marshmallow Rice Cereal Treat Pops.
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 10 ounces about 2-1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 cups rice cereal
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted
- Festive sprinkles
- Grease an 8 by 8 inch pan. Set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Tip: grease saucepan and spoon with butter to avoid marshmallow sticking to pan and spoon. Pour in mini marshmallows, and stir constantly until they melt. Remove from heat, and stir in rice cereal. Immediately transfer to greased pan. Pat top down until flat with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes or until firm. Cut into squares and star shapes. Insert straw or popsicle stick into one end of each square and star. Dip one end in melted chocolate. Sprinkle with festive sprinkles. Enjoy 🙂
