Personal Fudgy Brownie Trifle.
Fudgy Brownies
- 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted
- 1/4 cup 1/2 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cups white, granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling
- 1 cup whipped cream
- chocolate, shaved
- Valentine’s Day sprinkles
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, whisk together chocolate, butter, and sugar.
-
Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt, and mix until just combined. Pour batter into a greased 8 by 8 inch pan, and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (this brownie recipe will make more brownies than for just one or two servings). Cut brownies into small cubes once done baking.
-
To assemble trifle, add a few brownie cubes to bottom of glass. Top with about 1/3 of the whipped cream, top with more brownie cubes, and then another 1/3 of the whipped cream.
-
Top with even more brownie cubes, and then the remaining third of whipped cream. Sprinkle on some shaved chocolate for garnish and Valentine’s Day sprinkles. Enjoy 🙂
