Banana Oat and Peanut Butter Cocoa Energy Balls.

When you need a little energy to get you through the remainder of the day…

Hello, and welcome to Day 2 of 10 Days of Healthy!

Yesterday, I shared this grain bowl with you, and today we’re doing snacks. That’s right – a little pick-me-up!

I have always loved the chocolate-PB combo, and now add banana to it, and it’s sooo yummy. A perfect snack if I do say so myself.

Banana Oat and Peanut Butter Cocoa Energy Balls.

  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 2 scoops (about 1/2 cup protein powder)
  1. Add all ingredients to food processor or blender, and blend until well combined. Take about 1 tablespoon of dough, and roll into ball. Do for remaining dough. Freeze for 15-30 minutes until firm, and store in a little plastic baggy for on-the-go pick-me-ups!
